fringe
A little event I recently had with a few friends where the theme was to create something with the theme of 'Fringe'. I used Country Road (?!) tags to make my own fringing...!

crochet is back
Could there be any cuter a hat? Crochet is really back in. I went to an exhibition on the weekend called As Far as Eye Can See. It was really beautiful and expertly displayed I thought. I liked that it was monochromatic - it drew attention to the different crocheted squares making up the whole.

french suite
I love this room or should I say, suite!? Check out the latest Vogue Living July/August 2011 magazine to see the whole hotel, Les Etangs de Corot. It's a suite designed by Sophie Albou, founder of Paul & Joe, just 20 minutes by car from the Eiffel Tower. You have to see the other half of this room too - it has the best yellow desk and floral armchair.

express yourself...
I'm late to discover many things... but I've semi-recently discovered Nigella Lawson in particular, her Nigella Express DVDs. Of course, I knew of her, and her baking which seemed to me to involve a lot of butter and chocolate... but this 'Express' series impresses me! Haven't yet cooked anything from her Nigella Express book but have spent almost an hour looking through it!
bee bag
Had been looking for a canvas-like bag for some time that was not too large... and found this in a little shop at Glenelg called The Ivy Room, but produced by Apple & Bee. Great for library visits, and general collections of 'stuff' that you carry around... Not a bad piece of advice either...
Just for you - designs from the heart
I was so excited the other day to discover afresh at my new library, this book I discovered earlier at another library (yes, I love libraries I confess...). It's a lovely collection of more than 400 individual projects collected by Pablo Correa featuring objects, cards, illustrations, posters, photographs, graffiti and logos! So much inspiration.
Now how can I get a copy?
More than 'ok' stockings
Not just 'ok' - these stocking are more than ok! An online purchase from Little Rock Boutique which I discovered from the latest Frankie magazine. Love this branding! OK OK originated in Melbourne, Australia . Makes use of 64% Australian cotton!
New Sunnies!
Was looking for this particular type of sunnies (pictured) and finally found them for a good price - happy to discover as a bonus, this cute owl case came included!
